According to their FB page.

Well, I guess I better use my Boutin's Groupon.

It's not bad on the way to Natchez. Better than Boutin's for sure.

I originally heard that R61 was supposed to build a new restaurant as part of Long Farm. I guess this opportunity opened.

looking forward to trying it. Sad to hear that Boutins will close. The food wasn't great but my kids liked going there and dance. The owner seemed like a nice guy.

That would make more sense considering it would still be on 61...

Work in Natchez , here they have no competition . Food is ok . There are much better seafood restaurants already established in Baton Rouge .

Limited what you can do with that location/property absent scrapping it and rebuilding from ground up.

R61 is a damned sight better than Boutin's, so this is an upgrade.

I agree.

Its one of the best in the Natchez area, but the BR market is already flooded with restaurants with nearly identical menus.

It is an upgrade over Boutin's though.

And there is a reason they exist. If managed well, it should make money.

Still not open. The Advocate reported last week that it may be open by the end of November, according to what they're saying on social media. But the restaurant wouldn't tell the newspaper anything directly.
