Who here has had an IDA burger?

I get bacon and cheese. My favorite burger. The best.

Port Allen, eh?

Where's it at? I'll try it next time I'm passing thru.

Been there a few times. Went there a lot growing up. First burger I ever liked with lettuce and tomato. They also have great shakes/malts.

The donut shop right there is good too. I dont remember the name - but their donuts were excellent.

good stuff. i'll get a burger there before i go to Bergeron's to buy meat. If go to Bergeron's on an empty stomach i spend way too much money.

Man that brings back memories. Both of my grandmothers lived in Port Allen and would take me to River Queen all the time. That was nearly 40 years ago.

Ida burgers are good, but the ham and cheese poboy is killer. The place changed ownership recently. Donuts aren't as good as they use to be.

Look I live near by. Do not get me wrong its a good burger but its not like it calls for a drive across the state for or anything. I went today and had a double ida burger with grilled onions
By the way the fries SUCK, under cooked and soggy, go with tator tots.
