Hard to beat Peche but Sac-a-Lait rocks and if someone wanted more than seafood they have a kick arse menu.

Cochon is a short walk away. Haven't eaten there (really enjoyed Cochon Butcher after visiting the museum) but I've heard good things about it (and the reviews I've seen have been positive).

The WWII museum has a great place to eat inside it. I think its called the American Sector. I ate there once and had a great Reuben sandwich and i remember their draft beer selection being very respectable for the location.

I believe it's still open but under new management. For the longest time it was a Besh restaurant.

That's terrible. My first job out of college was banquet supervisor for Centerplate at the Convention Center. I guess I won't be eating that dog food anytime soon.

And it's still a good choice right on location.

Wife and I went last year. Went to Couchon Butcher for lunch then went to Peche after for dinner and drinks. Peche was definitely better of the two, but both were really good meals.

American Sector went downhill super fast after the Besh group stopped managing it.

you can't gp wrong with h=whole fish for the table from Peche. Ask for Tuna collar, it's not on menu but sometimes they have it, and it's delicious.
