Restaurant PSA for those living in Dallas - Fearing's is awesome

Went to the restaurant in the Ritz Carlton last night for my one year anniversary. It is called Fearing's (pronounced Fairings). I just had to tell folks on here about it because it is easily the best meal I have ever had. Everything from the staff to the dessert was top notch. Oddly they are known for their tortilla soup, which I was skeptical of getting at a fancy restaurant, but damn it was good. I think they have Fearing's in other cities as well, and I'm sure they're all great, but I know for a fact the one in Dallas is great. It's pricey, but worth it, so if you're ever looking for a fancy dinner in Dallas, give it a try.

Yes, I've eaten there many times and I always recommend Fearing's and Abacus as my favorites in Dallas.
No, they do not have them in other cities. It has no relation to Ritz Carlton. Fearing is the last name of the chef and owner. He is usually there. Big smile on his face. Very nice and happy guy.

It is Dean Fearings restaurant and he is a phenomenal chef. He was at The Mansions on Turtle Creek for many years before he opened this restaurant. I've been to both several times and I agree it is as good as it gets. He is a nice guy as you said and been around for quite awhile.
