Time: NYE
Cuisine: Preferably Creole/Seafood but open to anything
Price: $$$ to $$$$ (with $$$$$ being the top end)
Location: French Quarter
Thanks: In Advance
Ok, I searched and searched for like 2 whole minutes and couldn't find a thread that fit my need but I did find the best ways to get trolled. The last guy that started a thread like this...well, it didn't go well. So I tried to learn from their mistakes.

It's about time Peche opened up a FQ location.

Resaurant Revolution or Richard Fiske's Martini Bar & Restaurant

Go to Galatoire's or Arnauds

i need a NYE place too, looking more for small plates than a full blown meal. FQ or downtown.

We did Borgne on NYE one year with plans to get small plates and didn't even think about the fact that it would probably be a fixed menu. So I'd definitely recommend asking when you make reservations somewhere.

I'm trying to decide the same. Currently have a reservation at Marcello's, but not sure if i'm going to keep it.

Any thoughts on Redfish?

For NYE in the FQ Galatoire's would easily be my first choice, but getting in won't be easy. However FQ + NYE = miserable.

You could do small plates at Domenica and pretty easy reservation.

was hoping for Meauxbar but it seems they are booked up. Might just opt for steak and end up doing Desi Vegas
going there next week, too close together

GW Fins would be my choice but many restaurants have set menus for New Years Eve and it is one of the two nights I try to avoid going out to eat (Valentine's being the other)

Add Mother's Day to that list and you have the Holy Trinty of Amateur Hour.

I literally would eat at a burger joint rather than deal with a real restaurant on NYE.
