Trying it out for first time tonight. Read some reviews here, but only ones I found were several months old. Any more recent experiences? Thnx.

Trying it tonight as well.
Not really fond of steak places in Casinos. 0/2 right now. Hollywood Casino was below average and Besh's at Harrah's in New Orleans was average. Current favorite is Sullivans.

If you're going to spend that kind of money, you should go more with a sure thing.

Ruth's
Fleming's
Louisiana Lagniappe (Filet Tournadoes)
Doe's Eat Place
Tejas De Brazil
Ruffino's
TJ Ribs
Even J. Alexanders serves a great filet
Sullivans (stick to the filet)

That would be my vote as well, but if he is going we need an up to date review...

Just got done. All in all it was decent, but I have to agree other places have it beat hands down. Appetizers were phenomenal. Pork belly was amazing and they had the best BBQ shrimp in BR. Seafood bisque was good but not the best. I ordered a 20 oz bone in ribeye cooked medium rare (I know but bone in steaks are my go to, particularly porterhouse if they have it). It was a Meh cut of meat; had too much fat and connective tissue in it between the good portions. Had a bite of my dads filet and it was good though. Service was below par as well; had to ask twice for refills on water. Sullivan's porterhouse is still my favorite steak.
