Been watching the show "Longmire" and the main carrier guzzles on this brand quite a bit. Show is set in Wyoming and I am guessing that it is just a regional brew for that part of the country. Anybody ever try it? Just wondering if it is any good.

Believe it's only distributed out west/northwest. Had one many years ago but I don't remember what it tastes like.

Pretty standard lager, actually made by Miller.

Driving through Seattle, there is a Ranier factory/distributor. I would assume it originated there due to Mt Ranier.

I was going to say you were wrong and that it's brewed by Pabst, but as it turns out, Ranier is owned by Pabst and brewed by Miller...

It's still gross, though...

I knew when I saw the title someone had been watching Longmire. Watching the show was the first I ever heard of it.

A Jan. 2016 press release said they had been brewing it at a big plant in California, but a Pabst subsidiary, Rainier Brewing Company, would start brewing Rainier Pale Mountain Ale and other beers at a Woodinville, Washington brewery owned by Craft Brew Alliance, Inc.
