Finally made the near two hour drive up to Ft. Collins last weekend to enjoy come Raising Cane's and New Belgium beer.

God, did I ever have the biggest hard-on walking into this place after not having Cane's for nearly a year. I've heard and seen the shrinkage of their chicken fingers down South. I was actually surprised to find they were quite large here in Colorado, but the sauce cups were about 2/3 their normal size back in LA.

Anyone try Cane's outside of LA/Texas/Miss/Alabama and have similar experience?

drink Funkwerks and some obscure O'Dells when up there

Why drink something that you can get everywhere?

Have you ever been?

Had plenty of beers at the brewery that I've never heard of before. Also went to Funkwerks and Odell but I wouldn't knock the New Belgium tour if you're spending the day up there.

I live in Denver, so Odell's and Funk is available just about everywhere here.

I wasn't aware they had breweries there back when I made reservations for New Belgium, but I've already planned another weekend in FoCo in a few weeks.

Yes.

Firstly, I do like Canes- and there are a lot of Canes haters on this board.

But I do agree that the fingers have gotten smaller in the last few years- at least the ones at the one of Vets in Metairie that I sometimes go to.

I was in Phoenix in March, and went to the Canes on I-17 at Peoria by the MetroCenter Mall.

The place was PACKED at like 9pm on a Sunday night- and the fingers were way bigger than the ones we've been getting at the one here the last few years.

I thought this was just my imagination, but it's interesting to hear someone else noticed it.

I guess they build their brand in new regions, get people hooked, then slowly reduce the size of their chicken. It worked here, why not try it other places.

Living in D.C. for couple of years, one night I had a craving for Raising Canes, so I searched the internet and found that they've recently opened one in Charlottesville, Va. I drove down there to satisfy my craving and got a Caniac combo with extra sauce and a sweet tea but that didn't do. So I bought 50 more chicken fingers to go, and of course picked up 2-32oz cups of cane's sauce.

The fingers were larger than the ones they serve at their BR locations.

picked up a tailgater pack for a business account of mine last week in Dallas and couldn't believe the size of them. I could eat 10-15 easy and still not be full

There is a lot of volatility in the chicken market right now. We are being forced to stop using the flaps with the tips at work. We are the only people in the nation that use the flaps with the tips. shite like that is going on.
