For anyone concerned, this place is a mirror of Billy's. That is to say, it is fricking awesome. It has the pepper jack boudin balls and the amazing cracklins too. The sell plate lunches and tamales though I haven't had them.

It's about time alexandria got some good boudin!!

As said earlier, right by the old holsum bakery. Across the street from academy almost. In the common point shopping center.

How y'all Alexandria folks feel about debarges (sp?)?

I've had some good (and interesting) boudin from there. I think one fried ball was a brisket stuffed or something.

Never had anything but their crawfish, which was several years ago, but I thought they had the best crawfish in town...

I think put jalapenos in the boil, adds a nice flavor

Debarges crawfish is very good. Never had their boudin either. I've also never heard anyone saying it was anything special.

Had the boudin a while back. Tasted fine, but smelled terrible. I has to throw the second link away. Going to have to wait a bit before getting more.

The plate lunches are a terrible value.

Wait. It smelled so bad that you had to throw it away AFTER eating half???

What did it smell like?

Are y'all referring to guillorys smelling bad? I can't stand their boudin. It looks, smells, and feels weird. It tastes ok but it is certainly not what I would classify as normal boudin.

The jalapino smoked is the best boudin I've ever eaten.
Quit being stupid about this.

I've introduced numerous people to this and not once have I had someone say it sucks.

Feces. As if they used real intestines and one was not cleaned right.

My brother in law brought some to the Christmas family gathering. Weird color, texture and taste. Neither my wife nor I could finish our small portion. Horrible in every way.

The owner of Billy's and the owners of quibideauxs are siblings. That's what the owner claimed the other day. The recipes are very very very close.

Never deny these people their opportunity to shite on Alexandria. It's good for their self esteem.
