I've never used a scale. I'm too lazy to go to that extreme. I just drink a couple of diet drinks before I eat and I found that those drinks really curb my appetite.

Is this a reflection on Baton Rouge that the most popular topic on a Food and Drink board is dieting?

Well, would we all need to lose so much if the food was horrible?

Don't take the loss out on your stomach!

Or maybe not. Ha! Turned the tv off after the horrible play and thought it was over til I noticed we still had the ball on Yahoo sports.

With my blood pressure, I just can't keep taking football weeks like this.

Pray for me that the Saints win big tomorrow. I need a break.

Daily update: Lost 5lbs since Monday. Down to 255.

Today-Plain biscuit for bkfst with coffee (no cream or sugar).
Lunch-5oz steak.
Dinner-a couple of hot dogs. About 80 oz of water throughout the day.

I'm way under 1500 cals for the day. No drinking today during football saturday was weird.

240.2 this morning. Gotta work 3-11 today so I shouldn't have trouble sticking to the diet.

I seem to recall asking very nicely for a stress free game.

MARTINI

I doubt they will sticky this thread so please just edit the title to Food Board Diet Club or something like that.

Well I'm at 250 this morning. Eleven down but as everyone knows ten is easy. Been getting a lot of exercising in and with this weather why not. I only had one really bad meal and that was today after lunch. I'll start a thread on it. But it was only because of my wifes insistence that we eat it (because it was one of her favorite places growing up in that metropolis of Alexandria)

I won't have to worry about slipping up with that joint again. Went to the game yesterday and had one big glass of McAllan 12 that I sipped and added ice to all day. Only drink I've had in a week or so. Doesn't bother me a bit and always feel much better. Plus I'm busy as hell with work.

Just eating a lot lighter. I bought a big pack of fresh boneless skinless chicken breast at Sams and grilled them all then sliced them. Been eating on them for a week. Good stuff.

Well to be honest. I decided March 7, 09 that I had a drinking problem so I stopped and joined AA. So after a year of that I realized that making tough changes was possible taking it a day at a time so I decided to use the same tools to drop the weight.

This is the best post in the thread. Good luck. I've cut way back and it feels so much better. I decided seven years ago to quit smoking and did it one day. The same mind set I used to that I will use to lose weight.

Congratulations.
