Exactly what I did. Stomach was growling too much so I grabbed some cheeseburger off the bread on top of some salad. Tossed the bread immediately so as not to be tempted.

The Devouring Hordes almost polished off everything before I could get something.

I find it funny how you keep arguing with me, but then describe how much weight you lost in ketosis, which is what his diet aims for.

starting to rethink my goal weight though because I'm already putting on some muscle and don't think I have enough fat left to shed to drop another 16 lbs

You and I are pretty similar.

I was up to 190 with the goal of getting to 165.

I'm now hovering around 166-170 on a given day, cut a lot of fat and added lean muscle.

Did clean and jerks for the first time today. Started out on light weights just to get the motions down and then slapped on weights, did 105 5 times. The jerk is easy, but getting that weight up to your shoulders is tough. I really like them though, I want to incorporate them into my normal workouts. They wore me out fast... a full body compound lift, basically.

For those who may not know what they are.. ignore that it's a fat powerlifter doing them, this is the form though:

Of course I'm not doing that kind of weight so I don't have to go into a full squat, maybe a quarter squat at most as I'm able to pull the weight up higher.

I think a lot of Cross fitters do that.

I don't have access to a barbell, but I did this in HS FB.

Actually, my roommate did crossfit for about a year and he was the one that taught me it. I knew of them and always wanted to try, but it's an advanced lift and tough and dangerous to learn on your own.

Definitely. Glad you had good instruction.

Good on you for getting back to the grind.

I've never argued against ketosis. I've argued that calories matter. You believe that it's impossible to gain weight in ketosis which is just plain silly.

Ok, well the point of this thread isn't really to argue, so I'm not going to bother.

There were some leftovers from the free lunch yesterday. Pulled some roast beef off the bread and dropped on some salad.

Down about 5 this week but that is pretty much all water. Easy weight gone, now time to work off the mountains of ice cream and cornbread I ate during my bout with temporary insanity.
