A little movement down. I need to have a good week including skipping the free lunch tomorrow and definitely skipping the donuts on Friday.

I;m going out to dinner Saturday and I want to be able to eat whatever I want so I need to have a good week. I hate having to buy those damn donuts.

5 pound drop from yesterday's weight. The sodium from the crawfish had me up at 261

As I mentioned earlier I will be starting a new fat burner stack next week. I will post results with before and after pics.

Weekend destroyed me again even though I pretty much stuck to gin (which is why it killed me). Eaten very little this week thus far (stress induced), but expect to more or less be at break even come tomorrow's week/week comparison (up right now about a lb). Not going to be doing myself any favors since I'm driving to NOLA tomorrow for FQF and probably staying through next weekend.

So what's the good advice on losing weight? This thread seems waaaayyy to long to rummage through. I am 271 right now. Goal would probably be 210. Any help would be appreciated. I understand the exercise portion. I more need advice on food and how to not have to spend a ton. We are having a kid in October. I'd like to do as much as possible by that time.

Well, I got as low as 160 for about 1 hour March of 2012. That was the last weigh-in for the 2012 Weight Loss Comp. I immediately chowed down after the weigh-in.

I then bounced between 165 & 175 for 6 months, then shot up to 206 before I put the brakes back on in late November 2012.

I'm hoping I learned my lesson last year and I hope to keep around 175 for the rest of the year. Only time will tell.

I was down to 171 for the last day of this years competition, then shot up and I am now working back to 175.

Won't make it this weekend, because I have 2 birthday meals, I delayed from March.

You don't have to spend a fortune to lose weight.

Low carb works for lots of people.

I advocate diet over ANY exercise, especially early in the diet. Many disagree but I think diet + exercise leads to quick burnout for most people.

Coming to the thread daily and posting the weight is one means of keeping yourself accountable.

Also a good place to let of some steam.

Most of us do low carb, I like to think of it as cleaner eating. No sugar/flour/highly processed foods. You can check out(google) Atkins or Paleo type diets. OR check out what your daily caloric needs are using an online BMR(basal metabolic rate) calculator. Once you know your daily calorie needs, subtract 500 cal from that a day (either through diet or exercise) in order to lose 1 lb a week.
I like doing my cardio workouts along with the healthy eating, keeps me motivated. Good luck!
