Flat d/d, but that's better than up. I've been keeping low-carb in general, but what do you think the effects are of going in and out of ketosis? Does is restart the whole thing every time you get over 20 carbs a day and thus massively slow down the process?

If you go a lot over, yes, I would assume you get knocked out.
you are only supposed to add 5 per week when moving out of induction.

20-50 is pretty hard core ketosis. 50-~80 is light ketosis. Above that you'reprobably out if ketosis.
TTonight a lot of beer. Tomorrow night also. Friend broke up with a girl, ad tomorrow is another friends bday.

I see. Yeah I probably knocked out out Saturday with piles of carb laden beer. Otherwise I aim for 20.

And ftr i disagree with 2k being too high. It depends on his bmr. If he eats too low of cals over an extended period of time, his metabolism will slow down from his body being in a catabolic state for too long. He should eat no less than 20% lower than his bmr. I know beer and and all is causing my stalls but even eating clean, I don't lose at 2k cals per day and my bmr is 2400ish. I attribute that to keeping my calorie count really low for the first year. I think my metabolism slowed down.

I'm at 11!
I need to make sure this weight holds for the weigh-in tomorrow. Only one option. Cadfasting until the weigh-in.

Frustrated. I've been eating great and I gained yesterday. I'll spare the details but it seems scientifically impossible for me to have gained weight from yesterday considering that everything I ate ended up in the toilet shortly afterwards. Not to mention that I did a cadfast yesterday and since I was sick barely ate one meal.

Being sick can probably cause water retention.
Once your body has healed it will drop off that water.

When Spinal Tap disbanded, Nigel opened a store called "11 UP" full of products that all go to 11.

I'm not trying to quit altogether, but I've successfully re-balanced my drinking back to liquor and away from Triple IPA-type stuff. I don't need to quit, but I need to grow up a little and learn a little more self-control and slow the f down. My drinking pace is generally a by-product of who else I'm drinking with, unfortunately the guy I end up drinking with most often is a giant (6'3 250) compared to me and a legit alcoholic. I don't really drink at all during the week, but its been coming back with a vengeance on the weekends for awhile now.

Had some sausage and eggs for breakfast/lunch and this eggplant/crawfish/tomato/zucchini/squash/pecorino/mozzarella smorgasbord (and a bud light) for dinner. Was going to go to the driving range but then it rained. If I can hold on this weekend I think I can get a 6 handle towards the end of next week. According to my cardiotrainer app, that would be the first time since 11/13/12. I have to go back to mid-June to get back to the 160 mark, but my natural weight seems to be in the 160-165 range, the vast majority of my weight gain came when I moved into a new apt and lost easy access to a gym and also started a new job that was stressing me out big time.

Drank and ate like shite today. Ready to accept the consequences, and i feel ready to hit the diet hard again. I feel like shite from eating poorly and drinking. I just feel so much better when I'm "clean"

I'm starved, dehydrated, and weak as an infant but other than that I'm good.
I should put up a monster number on the scale today at the office weigh-in. On the home scale, I've dropped 4.8 since last Thursday.
The guy who almost tied me last week, was up 3 on Monday so I don't see him losing much or anything this week. Hopefully my big loss makes him toss in the towel.
One freaking week to go and I can get back to the normal routine.

Whew, that looks much better. I feel much better too. Finally got over this stomach bug I had. The 260’s are in sight.

My insane -4.8 week has me firmly atop the leader board going into the last week.
Top 5
26.4 = 13.19%
23.8 = 10.07%
19.4 = 8.04%
10.0 = 7.44%
18.8 = 7.40%
Regained the total weight lead too.
