I only play doubles (not singles), so if I'm serving, it's my job to cover the baseline/back of court for that game, and try not to creep up. My partner should be covering the net. If we were a higher level, this would be less of a hard and fast rule, but at our lowly level, we have to pay more attention to court positioning to maintain coverage.

I don't love serving (goes back to not liking the attention to be on me), so I prefer the games where my partner is serving & I get to play the net for every point. It's fun :)

A year ago, I never imagined I'd be addicted to tennis. Better than meth?

I've had 2 good days of tracking my calories and I've been hitting my calorie goal, but still not getting enough protein. Hopefully that stuff doesn't go bad, I've got a lot in my pantry.

I struggled to hit the protein macro on Avatar, too. It seems pretty impossible unless you supplement with protein powder or eat a ton of chicken breast. The meats I typically eat would put me over the fat macros in that quantity.

Yeah that's exactly my issue. I'm going to attempt to up my protein, but as long as I stay under my carbs I'll be happy (I think) we'll see. My protein stuff has no carbs so it'll help to add one in

My wife struggles with hitting protein, also. I really don't. But I've been eating high protein for a long time.

I am confused I have no idea what I am supposed to be doing right now...

Should I eat on my school schedule or eat whenever I feel like it.

I am not hungry as I have not done anything really and there is no stress of a lil terrorist plotting harm to another lil terrorist.

Don't overthink it. If you're hungry, eat. If you're not, don't.

Are you planning your meals ahead? If so, it's fine to do either (eat on schedule, or when hungry). It gets more dangerous if you aren't planning and you've lost the structure, in my experience. I'm more likely to boredom eat.

Don't let that break kill your progress because of that. Give yourself a couple of days to enjoy the break and then figure out a new schedule, join a group or change your workout time or something to keep your progress going. Heck, you might even meet a floozy in the process.

Down a half pound this morning. My strength is coming back to me on this reverse. My DB shoulder press on my poverty macros was maxing at about 35 for 4-5 and 3 sets. I just did 50x5 for 4 sets. Feels Goodman.

My back is still sore and not healed up so I'm trying to do stuff that won't irritate it.

Bought a bone in pork shoulder and most of it was bone

But taste was good though. I may try brisket in few weeks as my meat instead of pork/chicken. Getting tired of the same.

I've eaten nothing but chicken all weekend. Sort of unintentionally. Very unlike me, since I don't love chicken.

I had some chicken at Blue Oak yesterday.
I priced just the slab for my outdoor kitchen today. I'm ready to start cooking out there this summer. I have no interest in heating up the house when it's 100° outside.
