What is your method and how would you rate it? Looking for a good recipe to feed 6-8 people tomorrow. TIA.

I just cover mine in water and broth, then let it go until the bone pulls out. I used to kill myself trying to season it with no success. Save some good sauce for when it's done.
Brought some to a party last year and another guy had spent all day smoking one. Everyone liked mine better. I didn't have the heart to tell them I did it in a crock pot.

Store bought rub then toss it in with some Coke and BBQ sauce. Be sure and trim off most of the fat or else you'll have a greasy, fatty final product (doesn't render off like smoker or oven).

Rohan is right. Did one for a bday party last year and it was the hit of the party
Trimmed it, bought a dr pepper and store bought Memphis pork rub. Poured the dr pepper on it and rubbed in spices. Put some water in too
Oh man it was tasty. Don't overthink it

cut pork, brown it and pour in a pack of Fontera's carneta's sauce.

Why don't you make your own carnita sauce?
A good quality root beer also works very well with the above suggestions. I throw in some onions.

I prefer the root beer route.
I slice up a yellow onion and place it on the bottom of the crock pot, then apply a good rub and pour root beer. 6 hours on low then pull apart. Another hour or so on low with bbq sauce. I have a hard time applying the bbq sauce because the meat is awesome.

I have done with just root beer and cook for 4-5 hours. Still prefer the smoked version.

Rub down a pork butt with your favorite powdered taco seasoning mix. Put in crock pot with 1 bottle of either Shiner Bock or Dos Equis Amber. Cook on low about 6 hours. Serve on fresh tortillas with cilantro and Queso fresco.

Smoked is optimal. These are alternatives.
