Pre-battered Fried Shrimp for Shipping

I KNOW this an abomination but my father-n-law lives in Upstate NY. He is elderly & loves fried shrimp. We are not able to make it North this year and bring fresh Gulf seafood to cook him and my mom-n-law will not touch any seafood nor does she even have the slightest idea how to cook it. I know nothing about frozen seafood because I only buy fresh.
Are there seriously any good Southern frozen fried shrimp products to send?

I personally think all pre-breaded shrimp tastes like butt.

Are they able to get out? Maybe get them a gift certificate to a restaurant that serves shrimp instead?

They don’t go out to eat at all because they live in the boon docks of the Adirondack Mountains so there are no big places go out.
We once sent Maryland Crab Cakes and he thought he had died and gone to heaven!

Not so fast, almost all shrimp sold in any market are previously frozen shrimp, and are excellent. Unless you get shrimp right off the boat, or within a day or two, I would prefer frozen shrimp.

Now the pre battered frozen shrimp are just awful
