Can anybody recommend a good spot for vasual lunch with the kids in the port st. Joe/windmark beach area? On the water would be nice. TIA

Dockside is on the water but isn't that great. Sunset coastal would be a solid option.
If you're not limited to water front you could do joe mamas, but it's on the little downtown strip and doesn't face the water
Drive over to cape San blas, get a blackened shrimp taco from peachy's and some frozen desert from shoobees next door and then eat on the beach.

Indian Pass raw bar, get there when they open, it gets really crowded.

Was gonna recommend that but there's nothing to really get a good visual from there.

You're right, but food atmosphere are pretty good.

There is a taco truck a little farther down toward Mexico Beach. The tacos are amazing.

Food is pretty bad there, is Apalachicola not an option?

How much farther east apalachicola? We r just driving thru port st joe to take a quick look on way home.
We will have several kids so dockside looks good - need sort of a back porch/crab trap type of joint. No fine dining with all hear kids.

30 minutes. Great town. But if you're with kids I wouldn't worry about going out of your way. where are yall coming from?

We are coming from grayton beach. Tired of the crowds that have migrated to 30a and looking to make a move. So we're gonna go look around at that area.

We went to Sunset Coastal a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. Also went to Up the Creek Raw Bar and Owl Cafe in Apalachicola and both were OK. Up the Creek has a back deck overlooking the water and has great raw oysters straight from the bay.

Then you need to check out Cape San Blas.
