Staying in the town area and not really skiing too much. Are there any must try places while I am there?

Wasabi is a nice little mom and pop sushi joint in the mall.

Have been a couple times in the past 2 years. Favorite dinner spots are Hearthstone, Modis, Apres, and Blue River Bistro. Also definitely hit up Breckinridge Distillery and Broken Compass Brewery - they are right next to each other not far from town center and they have fantastic bourbon and craft beer, respectively.

Get crepes at the crepe cart. There's also some good pizza in town...several choices. Eric's Under The Stairs is a good joint for beer and burgers.

Yup they do wild game very well. Probably my favorite joint in town - just serving some really delicious food. Superb service as well.

Kenosha is a nice casual place with a great beer selection.

Also enjoyed Ember just don't order the pho.

Ember

the other couple we were with decided to go to Ember while we did hearthstone.

They arrived at 815 for their reservation. Make a long story short, they closed the kitchen and didn't even inform them. They had a terrible experience. The owner told them that they will pickup up their bill at Hearthstone since they were coming to join us. Ember came through with their word. They called Hearthstone and told them that they were coming to join us and they would pickup up the ticket

Last time I was in Breckenridge after a day of snowboarding and drinking, I absolutely destroyed some Empire Burger. Place was good.

Peak 8 and 7. Why are you going there in winter and not skiing or snowboarding? You going snowmobiling?

I would tell you another place but with your profession, I think you would frown upon it and the "cuisine"

One day it will be legal everywhere

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Me and the wife have never been skiing or snowboarding and the only time I have ever seen snow was when it snowed around xmas several years ago. We might take a ski lesson and hit up some snowmobiles.

Serious people. Tell everyone, they´re serious about what they do. Good stuff in this day and age...
