Heard some good things about this place, and am considering bringing a group of 6-8 there this weekend. What can you tell me about it? Can I get reservations? What should we order?

It's a small plate type restaurant. With 6-8 people you should be able to try most things on the menu. The Royal Reds, spicy ground shrimp, fish of the day is always extremely fresh. I'm partial to the seafood gumbo. Had a good smokey flavor.

Yes. I would recommend it with a party of that size. It's courteous to the restaurant.

was there three weeks ago... ate at the raw bar/ La oysters were very good, better than Acme and Parrains in BR/ I thought the gumbo was very mediocre/ the raw bar servers were great

Search for other threads. It is a very loud restrnt, so manage your expectations.
I would try all the apps & get the whole fish special....
