Just curious.... what do you normally serve as sides for pastalaya?

Side salad is always a good option with a pasta dish and you can go any direction you'd like with it as far as flavor profile goes

Semi related question...would one use the same pounds of pasta as they would pound of rice for any particular Jambalaya or pastalaya?

I don't really make pastalaya, but green peas and a salad seem like good choices to me.

Not gonna lie, those white beans they serve with the pastalaya at jambalaya shoppe aren't bad.

Use 1 1/4 quarts of stock (you can go as high as 1 1/2 quarts or as low as 1 quart, though) for each pound of pasta. Other ingredients are the same.
