I heard maple shade will be available on the last weekend. I'm disappointed, I was looking forward to going again all year.

Oh I know.. I know. They out did TABC on this one. I had a few people excited to make the trip after I told them about it last year. If you had to guess, which weekend will be the best to make the trip?
Maybe they'll have a little bit of everything on the last weekend/plus maple shade release.

I'd probably shoot for the last weekend since that will be Maple Shade weekend, then you can hope and pray the new hoppy beers from prior weekends will still be available.

I've asked before and didn't get a straight answer. I have a 2015 bottle of GR. What is the optimal time to let it age? I've been saving it for a special occasion. I was hoping to pop it after beating Bama this year, but I don't think that's going to happen.

3 years seems to be the sweet spot for me. I had a 2014 this summer that was just about perfect.
