I would assume. I feel the best I have since high school. I take multi vitamins when I remember and get PLENTY of fiber between the almonds and quest bars.

That's why I don't do it. I'd rather get my vitamins from fruits and veggies than supps.

You don't need to take a multivitamin on keto diets. You can get plenty of veggies and berries if done right. Fiber through leafy greens, broccoli, avocado.

Can you give me an example of the macro breakdown and the foods in a common day?

Isn't that huge amount of protein horrible for your kidneys and all?

Not sure what you're referring to or if hulk edited it out. But I did pure paleo for about 3 straight weeks at one point and I was taking in close to 160-180 g of protein/day.

ETA: I still try and get at least 120-140/day

I'm doing paleo and take in that amount.

I'm talking about the protein requirements on keto diets...

Never mind. I found a breakdown and it's similar to the one I tried before...

I'm not a fan of being constipated and am pretty sure humans need more veggies than the diet will allow.

Keto is usally around 60% of calories from fat, 35% from protein, and 5% from carbs.

No, my protein intake isn't much different when doing keto vs paleo. Fat intake is, however.

I don't get constipated. But I do go out of my way to make sure I get fiber in my foods. And you'd be surprised how much veggies you get from 25-30g carbs. I did just find on 9 months of strict keto when I first started dieting.

Some people mention a carb up day to replace glycogen stores... do you do that?

When you say 25-30 carbs you mean net carbs right? Not counting fiber.

But cheat days will do that anyway.

Might try this again after Halloween.

Have a big physical next week and don't want to be screwing with my body before then.

Can't be passing out from low blood sugar when I have blood drawn or anything.

I have no problems with blood sugar when keto'ing, but there is a big energy drain for the first few days as your body takes time to switch to ketosis. Once it does though, I feel just fine. I've been running 3x a week and lifting twice a week, no problems here.

On second thought it might not be a good idea.

I have been doing paleo and cheating on the weekends but am about to switch to cheating more frequently but to a lesser magnitude, so she doesn't want to kill me Monday through Friday.

Doing that would take me out of ketosis every day.
