It is a 4 or 7 course tasting menu if I remember correctly. Also, BYOB which is pretty nice

You're right and the menu constantly changes. I've been twice and the first time there were a few misses for me(on a tasting menu, that happens though). The second time, I loved everything on the menu.
It's a small, casual place. Try to sit at the wrap around bar setup so you can see the kitchen.
After you're done, go bar hop in north downtown at Hearsay, Public Services, La Carafe, OKRA, etc.
