Got started on this last Thursday. Hope to have granite in by Tuesday and then add accessories.

Putting a green egg to the far right--building this out today.
Napoleon 36 inch grill where the cut out is.
Electric Smoker under the end of the bar
Ice chest in the middle of the bar
Kegerator in the far left corner.

Can't wait for the finish and can't wait to spend time even more time out here. Need to add lights and fans.

Looking good. Be sure to put a drain hole for the ice chest so you don't have standing water

Don't burn the whole house down by cooking with an open flame underneath the roof.

Taking down that Hook'Em sign will help pretty it up. I'd hate to see all that hard work go to waste by hanging up something so ugly

What granite are you looking at for the tops?

This is the granite--

Wife is a longhorn so she gets a little space. There will be plenty of LSU as well.

Those worried about the house burning down... thanks for the concern. I think we've thought this out and will be fine.

Looks great!

Got a couple questions:

Did you hire a contractor or are you doing it yourself?

It looks like the rock walls are stand alone and are not supported by a frame. Is this structurally sound?

I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm thinking of doing one and am just trying to get good info before I start. Thanks.

This dimwitted, obese bastard is probably going to burn his house down or the thing will fall apart.

OK, but that roof over where you will be cooking looks awfully low.

Got finished with all but the decorating and accessories over the weekend. Turned out better than expected and pictures don't quite do it justice.

Doubled our outdoor space--this is right off our inside kitchen and total covered space is 28x30. I have a 60 inch tv on a wall you can't see here but plan to put at least a 60 inch behind the bar that's pictured. It may not be what some of you would do, but we will enjoy it.

It came out great. You will regret not having an outdoor sink.

Congrats

I'm pouring the slab for mine in a month. My big piece of granite is similar in size.

I'm gonna have it on an island though to fit the most number of bar stools possible. What height is yours at there?
