I really can't tell when people are fricking around or being serious in the beer world anymore.

Last year was very awesome and the menu looks just as good or even better this year. My wife is going again just for the food. She doesn't drink beer.

In.

Bonus for ticket holders - Mixed 6pack Creature Comforts and Jester King beers are available at Stein's. Got a nice haul yesterday.

We went...The food was pretty good. But the beer was mostly sours and other funky styles which I am ok with in small doses. Last year they had a much wider variety. Last night they has 1 Abbey Ale, a couple of farmhouse ales, a half dozen Saisons, a few blonds and many sours and spontaneously fermented beers. There was one tasty lambic porter and one Belgian IPA. Anyway, at least we are not hungover.

Was a really good event, good was great as was the beer. Some areas were a little crowded with little walking room (over by the cheese) but that is a minor complaint.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Compere Lapin, Murder Point and Peche were the best food offerings.

La Thai...best staff...well one staff member.

That was also my first time trying Cantillon. Just not my thing those Lambics.

NOLA Brewing's Desire was great.

Another great event. Maybe a little more crowded than last year, but still very comfortable and minimal waiting for food and drinks. They did actually run out of a few beers this year, but not too early.

The brisket sliders from Cochon, the smoked goat tamales from Toups, and the sticky rice cake with seafood salad from Peche might have been my favorite dishes.

The menu was available online for like a month. Are you simple? Why would you even go?

Yuck. I'm not down with beers that rip the enamel off your teeth.

The event was fantastic, as expected. And yes, that one staff member from LA Thai was
