Cute, but I have no desire to see most of these.

Here are my 12, in no order, and also I'm not limiting it to just fast food:

1) Whataburger
2) Torchy's Tacos
3) Sweet Tomatoes
4) Freebirds
5) Friendly's
6) Dreamland BBQ
7) Lou Malnati's
8) Biscuitville
9) Twisted Root
10) Chuy's (I think this one is coming soon)
11) Cook Out
12) Maggiano's Little Italy

What say the Food and Drink Board?

Torchy's Tacos

Would probably shut down most Tex Mex places in New Orleans.

Shake Shack is seriously the most overrated/overhyped place in the country. I'm not even arguing it's bad.

Of the NOLA list, I've patronized Beard Papa, blue bottle, Jeni's, Shake Shack, and Torchy's.....all would be great additions to LA. A couple more to add to the list, which is completely pie in the sky for a market as small as NOLA:
--Belgian based Exki, veggie-centric quick-service/fast food: LINK
--Pain Quotidien, like a far better la Madeline without being junky: LINK
--Big Fernand, Paris-based burger chain: LINK
--Grom: Turin-based gelato chain: LINK

Right, but this is a New Orleans list. No whataburgers in New Orleans.

My experience was vastly different.

I would rank them...
Free Birds
Mission Burrito
Izzos
Moe's
skip 1,000 slots
Chipotle

Weren't there rumors we were supposed to get a Gus's Fried Chicken? Surprised that wasn't on the list.

I've eaten at a lot of taco places (Tacodeli, Taco Diner, Velvet Taco, numerous taco trucks that probably shouldn't be open due to health codes)....Torchy's is probably last on the list of them that I'd categorize as meh.

It's alright. Fuzzy's is better.

And taco cabana is better than taco bueno
