NOLA Irish Channel Stout - Year Round - Cans

Is it officially going to be available year round as of now? Will I be able to get this throughout the year of 2013?
When will it go to cans? I rarely hit bars up so it would be nice to take home. It would prob become my go to 4 pack and (IMO) be the best Louisiana beer that is available year round.

Was at the brewery yesterday and I didn't see any ICS cans anywhere. Kinda of disappointed the 7th St wheat is going seasonal now.

I believe 7th st wheat I actually year round.

It was, but with ICS going year round 7th St gets bumped to seasonal.

Last time I was there (July or August) they were saying that the plan was definitely ICS year round and they were shooting for it to be in cans for St Patricks Day. Not sure if that's doable at this point, especially with trying to get Mechahopzilla in cans as well, but a man can hope.

I probably need to try it again because I was a little disappointed with it as well. Now this was right after I got back from SF and had spent the day at Russian River so my expectations might have been a bit high, but I didn't like it as much as I thought I would.
I too would trade Mechahopzilla for ICS in cans as its probably one of my favorites. I would be satisfied to get Flambeau in cans by next Mardi Gras.

The more of it I have, the less I like Mechahopzilla. It's just too bitter without enough hop aroma or flavor.

This is te same reason why I think Hopitoulas in canst is lacking. On tap, the aroma and flavor is far superior to the canned beer.
I had mecha last weekend on tap and there was little if any hop flavors/aromas.

Split a pitcher with rutiger and another buddy the other day, and it was all I could do to finish my pint. It just isn't that enjoyable to me. I've found the style of IPA and DIPA that I like (aromatic, flavorful and drinkable), and Mechahopzilla is the exact opposite of that.

My local store here in LC just told me their new distributor will be coming from NO and they have Hopitoulas and lots of new beer on the way. He said a craft beer explosion. Lol. I'll have to put in an order for the ICS

What's your top 3 or so, that you have reasonable access to (leave out beers like Hopslam or Zombie Dust that are tough to get)

That's tough, since the ones I really enjoy, I don't have reasonable access to.
I was reminded the other day just how much I love SweetWater IPA. It reminds me a good bit of Zombie Dust with its big citrusy aroma.
Surly Furious and Abrasive are both great representations of what I like in an IPA and DIPA, respectively. But again, access is a problem.
Pliny and Heady of course. Big hop aroma and flavor. Very tough to get.
Endeavour is probably one of the best locally available DIPA's. Green Flash Imperial is one I haven't had in a while. Will have to try again, but during our epic IPA Day tasting, it was middle to bottom of the pack. Wish both of those were available in 12 oz bottles.
Stone Ruination 10th was a great representation of a big IPA that while bitter, had lots of hop aroma and flavor.
Just brewed a Zombie Dust clone Saturday. 5 ounces of Citra in the boil, with 4 of those coming inside of 15 minutes. Will dry hop with another 3 ounces of Citra. Hoping for lots of citrusy aroma and flavor, without a ton of bitterness.
