NOLA Dinner Recommendations
Posted by LSUbroker on 12/14/16 at 10:20 pm00
Looking for a few dinner recommendations in the quarter for an anniversary dinner.
Looking for something with a somewhat simple menu and a little less exotic.
Already doing Mr B's for lunch, no price range and I'm open to cuisine.

We ate at NOLA (one of Emeril's) this past weekend, and I was very impressed
Great to hear. I have dinner reservations there for New Years Eve. Any quick recommendations?

I ordered the scallop dish (comes with shrimp and mussels, too). Others at our table had the crusted drum, fried chicken and New York strip. There was not a single bad thing said about any of them. You won't leave hungry as the portion sizes are fairly large, or at least I thought so.

This sort of comment isn't convincing to me. Similar to "I've never had a bad dish there" which makes me think a place is mediocre rather than good, great or excellent, for example.
Just sayin'.

Thanks for your critique. But you are reading way too deep. Our meals at NOLA were far from mediocre.
