I've had something come up and can't make it this weekend, but was wondering how it went last night?

It was pretty awesome. Pleasantly surprised considering it was a first year event.

It was GREAT. Loved it.
I think they were a little upset at the turnout but it was good to me. Nice sized crowd without being a shitshow

It was pretty packed last night. They could have probably put a couple hundred more in there but not much more than that. Maybe if they had some vendors outside though. How they got that many top bourbon companies and industry people there in their first year is a minor miracle to me.

I thought it was a good time. Would go again next year. Seemed a little crowded.
Would've been cool if they had some vendors outside like the poster above mentioned.

Really upset I was out of town for the inaugural event. I talked with a few of the organizers and they sounded like they were putting together a top flight event.
It sounds like it was an overall success though. Hopefully it will only continue to grow and become a mainstay in the Nola festival circuit.
