Are your comments directed at traditional Danish food? I've been able to find great ethnic food there. And their pastries are phenomenal.

they harvest those shrimp in the north sea, then send them to morocco for peeling, then back. They are tasty in the cream sauce, on some crackers or that shwartzbrot.

Overall, I'll agree with you on the spice. Other than currywurst, i had nothing spicy in Germany, Greece or London.

you are a strange dude

you include pictures of airplane food to make your point and then for some reason just say that you wouldn't eat a NOMA because it scares you?

i must not have eaten at the right places because i didn't find any of them particularly earth-shattering.

One tip is you have to go to a shop with the golden pretzel crown hanging out front. It signifies they are a member of the Danish Bakers Guild. Once we learned that, every place was money.

Copenhagen had good food. Enjoyed it a lot. They eat more mayo than I like, but other than that, I had no problem with their food at all.

Good beer too.

Nope nope nope. I don't care if its the #1 restaurant in the world, I'm not eating insects and fruits and vegetables that have been in a state of 'controlled rot' for week.

Yet you ate those funky old "house-aged" steaks.

You have ZERO sense of adventure......I would try anything at NOMA & be ecstatic to be there! Would you eat chippolino's with beer in Oxaca?

Judges country by their airplane food...won't eat anything at the country's #1 (also the world's #1) restaurant...

ETA:

You sound like the people on allrecipes.com that omit 10 ingredients in a recipe and call it terrible.

Either way, it looks like you didn't do your research very well before going.
