does somewhere in chicago serve these? or was it a national show you saw while in chicago? in other words, what does chicago have to do with this poboy? really curious, ill be there this summer and would try it, although I think I wont like it

I would try it. I mean I did like the french fry poboy..although it definitely doesn't look as appealing as the tamale poboy..

I've never understood the appeal or why it's even on menus in New Orleans. It's just po boy bread stuffed with french fries and gravy, correct?

It sounds...awful. It really does. It sounds flavorless outside of the gravy.
