Iwei, though next time try it with much less liquid. Looks more like you stewed them rather than braising. I usually only have the meat partially submerged. You end up with super rich gravy and perfectly cooked meat. Veggies on the bottom get cooked down while the veggies on top get steamed with the aromatics.
