Agree. Had a nice meal there last Saturday.

The chef there has a lot of his regulars pissed because he changed the menu. I like the new items and especially like being able to get a table easier.

How did he change it up?

Always prefer a restaurant make changes than get stale with the same old things.

I don't know about *the* best, but it's in my top five.

Overzealous and asinine statement. It's perhaps top 10, definitely not the best.

I can get on board with that. Nino's is definitely in the top few.

What are the 9 restaurants in BR that would fill out your top ten? Just curious.

I don't have a "best". I can't really rank an Italian restaurant over a French restaurant or vice versa. And I can't compare an upscale restaurant to a casual restaurant -- even though I might love both. Comparing apples to oranges IMO.

I have a favorite burger, a favorite steak, a favorite casual/bar food, a favorite Italian, a favorite first date, a favorite special occasion, etc.

He took some of the regulars favorites off the menu. Pesto pasta dish and not as many steak choices are a couple of examples. Oh, I just remembered hearing from a regular that quit going because they eliminated the lasagna.

I just wish Nino's would do a little update on the decor.

To each his own, but Ruffino's and Sullivan's don't belong on any top ten restaurant list.

But to each his own, right?

For me, the ones I go to the most (there are some very good ones I would probably rank in the top 10 but hey are too costly for me to go there much).

J. Alexanders
Rama
Curry N' Kabab
Gino's
El Paso (I have to put it on the list because I love Mexican and it is currently my fav Mexican place in town)
Thai Pepper (best buffet but it tears me up)
Viet Garden
Chelsea's

An honorable mention goes to Cheesecake Bistro because they have the best cheesecake in town and that is my favorite dessert. The restaurant is whatever but those desserts. I also love their paneed chicken over crawfish linguini so at least there is one entree I like.
