Nice place to eat on the Northshore

I know about Dakota's, Del Porto, La Provence, Keith Young's, and Juniper. Any other worthwhile restaurants on the Northshore to try?

Keith Youngs... I haven't been to Dakota's in a while but my mom went for her Christmas party and said it was underwhelming.

I haven't personally tried it yet, but Zachary's just opened (in the building where Hungry Forager used to be) a couple months ago on 190 in Old Mandeville and I've heard good things so far.
Also,
Nuvolari's - Italian/Creole
Rip's on the Lake - Seafood
The Lakehouse - Seafood
Cafe' Lynn - Creole/Cajun twist on French
Trey Yuen - Best Chinese on Northshore

Louie and the Redhead Lady in Covington and in Mandeville.

Add Sal and Judy's to the above list, however, personally I have had sub par meals at Louie's and the Red Headed Lady and NTini's recently and haven't been back.

I highly recommend Gallagher's Grill on 21.
I do not highly recommend del Porto. Not that it is bad but neither the menu nor the execution of the dishes justify the significant cost, IMO.
EDIT: forgot about Water Street Bistro in Madisonville. The duck sausage with fig port reduction is outstanding.

Sal and Judy´s, but make sure you have a reservation if you´re going during the weekend. Last time I went it was packed...

Topila's (sic) in Hammond is very good. Never had a bad meal there and price is reasonable. Highly recommend the shrimp cheesecake for appetizer.

I've only had lunch at the one in Covington but was well pleased with it. I'd definitely go back.
