If I'm in the mood it looks fine.. And if I want to get a hotel room for the weekend and not have to walk around too much or wait too long, I like having breakfast or dinner where I'm staying.

Hey, I wan't offended by your slam of BO and didn't think it completely inappropriate.
I like him. He's a good poster here and all. But he's not above reproach.
I don't think anyone should be -- except Meridian, of course.

Good? Sure.
It is incredibly overpriced.

And like I said, there are quite a few better spots to stay and eat in New Orleans. The Waldorf and Domenica for one. However, the idea of traveling far from a hotel for a better meal, in New Orleans doesnt hold much water. Stay at the Intercontintal and you will be 2-3 blocks from approximately 15 restaurants worth your money.

Frankly, I'm not interested in what you think holds water.. You're not paying my hotel bill.

Enjoy your meal. Didnt mean to step on toes, just think you can do better than "Cajun spiced Scallops" and Blue Cheese mashed potatoes.

If you'd read instead of getting all lit up and jumping my tail, you'd have seen that I looked the menu up for another poster.

Lets just drop it.
You said the menu looked amazing, I dont think it does. I probably misread your post.
Regardless, or irregardless as they say in South Louisiana, there are some restaurants in hotels worth a meal, but many more which are not.

I haven't stayed anywhere but the Windsor Court in years, but I'd imagine I'd stay in most of the hotels with good restaurants. Not sure I'd stay in The Provincial again. It's neat and quaint and used to be a real deal money wise, but I don't know what it's like these days.
That being said, I'm sure you can get a good meal at the Windsor Court. I haven't eaten dinner there in ages, but I've had lunch there a few times and it was good.
Love R'evolution. I think most of the restaurants in hotels at which you might stay and eat have been named.

No wonder you're always asking for your check a little early.

Well, I have to agree that place doesn't appeal to me. But what do I know? It could be great.
Still no intention of eating there.

Desi Vega's Steakhouse in The Lafayette Hotel should be on the list.

Of course lots of exceptions to that rule but Richard Fiske's Martini bar is not one of them.
crawfish, bacon, jalepeno Mac and cheese with fried oysters.... Who puts that on a menu? They couldn't work in some steens or sriracha?
