Which hotels in the Big Easy have restaurants that you would go to, even if they weren't in hotels? Domenica at The Roosevelt is a favorite.. Which does the F&D Board recommend? And would you actually stay at the hotel?

The Rib Room in the OMNI.

OMNI offers a great product and an excellent guest experience.

Luke, Borgne,
Dragos would probably make the list as well.

What hotels are Luke, Borgne and Drago's in?

Agree about the Omni.. They have a great roof top bar and a raised patio pavillion that offers a great view of the French Quarter and the river.

Any info on the restaurant in The Mazarin, which is the old St. Louis Hotel?

We had a poker game back in the day. After the game, we'd end up at The Hummingbird to spend our big winnings.

Compere Lapin at Old No. 77, formerly the Ambassador, on Tchoup. Couldn't pay me to stay there though.

I will be staying here in a month and am curious as to what the love is about for Richard Fiske's place?

I'm not 100% sure if it's affiliated with Hyatt French Quarter, but I enjoyed Red Fish Grill last year. Hyatt seemed pretty new or renovated, so it was solid.

Does that menu really look amazing to you? Its all over the place and variations on mid 90s (maybe) fusion food.

Quote I've long since forgot who said it, but it goes like this "I dont sleep in restaurants nor eat in hotels."

Of course lots of exceptions to that rule but Richard Fiske's Martini bar is not one of them.
