I will be in New Iberia tonight and the rest of the week. Any recommendations on places to eat?

Victors, on Main Street, is good for breakfast or lunch. Once you're there ask people about places on Main Street for Fri and Sat nights.
People at your motel will also have advice about dinner places mid week.

Clementine's, Little River Inn, Tampico's, The Landing, Victor's for breakfast and lunch, The Patio... Hope this helps.

Hey, fan 75, where do you live in NI? I was on Duperier Street back in the day.

Clementine's and The Landing are both great. The landing has more cajun food, Clemintines is a bit more on the fine dining side. If you're looking for a poboy or something simple, try Duffys on Center Street.

is that off of the Teche? way back in the day (of the summer of 89-90) there was a small joint right off the Teche across from Iberia Country Club. GREAT place...but I was in High School then and went and drank there with my friends...so it would probably suck to go to now with me being my age....

And dmaned if Victor isn't still there. I used to see that man play golf all the time at Sugar Oaks, Squirrel Run, Iberia CC...didn't really dig his joint though.

Best place though is probably a family memebers home

goddamn, this thread brings me back.... I'll be there next weekend though. First time in over six years

Back in the late 70s a chef opened a restaurant in NI that required coat and tie. I told my buddies it would close in one year. I was wrong. It closed in 6 months.

Friend of mine from school has a lunch place on 90 in Broussard, so not too far up the road from you:

Tiny's House of Meat

He ain't fancy, but he's a good guy and loves what he does.

I don't doubt it, but why all the hate towards New Iberia, keep your arse where you are if don't like it. The original post was asking for a place in New Iberia, not New Orleans!
