This reads like a bad Onion article - former Harlem residents who just moved to New Orleans want to open a cupcake, cognac and live music venue. Good luck with that. LINK

"Hey, what was a fad about 10 years ago? And does anyone know a unique angle on drinking that hasn't been done before? Ohh I got it, Cognac, which no one really drinks. Man this idea is bound to be a winner."

If they are from Harlem a great chicken and waffle place would probably do pretty well. No way cupcakes and cognac is going to survive.

Will they even allow a music venue on Magazine?? Seems like the neighborhood would raise absolute hell.

Hell, I wonder how they're even getting a liquor license at that location. I thought they were severely limiting new ones of those lately -- especially around there. Sounds like a terribly horrific business plan either way.

Alliteration is never a good business plan. Sounds awful.

The should have done a cat friendly cafe that serves craft beer.

Are they really going to have cats at that "cat cafe" that is opening soon? Or is it just cat themed?
