Friday, I think I am the first person there so I need a lunch recommendation.

Friday, dinner we haven't planned yet. Need recommendations.

Saturday Brunch- South Congress Café. I heard they have the best bloody mary but what food recommendations can you give me? What's the dress code?

Saturday night I think we are going to Dogwood or Molotov. Looks like Molotov uses the Dogwood menu? Are these places casual dress? Looks like moreso bar food on the menu.

ETA; this a bachelorette party, so dinner Friday would need to be somewhere that could accommodate a table of 10+12 somewhere around 6th st.

Easy Tiger. Great sandwiches. Fresh homemade breads and pretzels. Great beer selection

Swift's Attic. I had awesome pork cheeks over blue cheese grits. My buddy had some badass looking croque madame. They also have dollar mimosas and a bloody bar.

If y'all are going to be out on 6th street, there is a great bar featured on the food network serving gourmet ramen and other interesting pub food.

I can't remember the name, but look up the food network food map

What are y'all looking for? Tex-Mex, BBQ, something nice, something casual?

The drinks at S. Congress Cafe are good. most of the food is pretty solid, their daily specials are usually great. There is no dress code, this is Austin, no one cares.

Truluck's or Pearla's. Truluck's is downtown and Pearla's is on S. Congress.

Mexi-Curra's on Oltorf off S. Congress.

Definitely do Paul Qui's East Side King food trucks. Several locations and a brick & 1 mortar place. Different asian food menus at each place but all fantastic. I like the location at Liberty Bar on East 6th. It's a grungy bar with outdoor seating in the back where the food truck is.

G'Raj Mahal for good Indian....another food truck but nice outdoor seating......

But it will be cold this weekend so outside may not be a good idea if you are from South La.....y'all seem to not like anything under 50.

So....Uchi for sushi....or Uchico for japanese farm to table.

Breakfast tacos or lunch- Torchy's Tacos.

Amy's Ice Cream for desert.

Molotov closed so I guess y'all are going to Dogwood

The food there is actually pretty good and they have some really fun bartenders. It gets crazy packed on weekends, though, so be prepared for a cluster.

South Congress Cafe is AWESOME. Probably my favorite brunch spot. Get the infused Bloody Mary rather than the regular (if you like spice, that is). The Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict is my favorite thing on the menu: two crabcakes topped with spinach quiche, crispy prosciutto and hollandaise (I get the chipotle) with a side of potato pancake and fresh fruit. The migas are also incredible. Pretty much anything you get there is going to be amazing. Be prepared for a pretty long wait, though. Gives you some time to explore South Congress and they just call your cell when your table is ready.

for Friday lunch go over to John Mueller's and get your BBQ on. Get the Beef rib plus brisket plus the squash. Don't be a dick when ordering or John will stab you....if you're nice he will give you free Lone Star beer while you wait in line...so you either get stabbed or free beer...your choice.
