need a recipe for smoking a boston butt.

i want to smoke a boston butt. looking for some ideas on what rub to use, how long to smoke it, and what temp to smoke it at? any help would be great. thanks in advice

Stuff it with trinity(tossed with seasoning). Smoke at 220ish for 3-4 hours, then bake it covered with foil in the oven for a few more hours at 300.

i make a basic dry rub and apply it the night before with the help of some mustard.
i smoke it at 200-250 for 8-10 hours using pecan wood.
next ill put some apple cider vinegar in the bottom of a large pyrex dish with some foil over top and put it in the oven at 250 until the internal temp is 180-185.
then i wrap it in foil, put it in an ice chest (no ice of course) with some towels for an hour.
i use the vinegar/drippings from the pyrex to make a eastern carolina based vinegar bbq sauce.
