Need a good spicy baked catfish recipe

Going to rain tomorrow so gonna have to cook inside.Looking for a spicy baked catfish recipe. Thanks

Preheat oven to 425 and put rack on the 2nd highest level. Lay filets on a sheet pan lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray. Brush with melted lemon butter and season with blackening seasoning. Bake for 5 minutes then kick the broiler on high and broil until browned 5-7 minutes. Squeeze lemon and spoon the melted butter from the pan on top of the filets.

Consider the above, but place a layer of thin sliced onion rings under the fish.

Made this today and it was outstanding. Thanks to you two. Those onions were damn good too Otis.

That's how I cook all fish in the oven. Glad it turned out well.
ETA I will try it with the onions next time

Otis, I just cooked some trout like this with the onions as instructed. C'est Bon!!!
