My fantasy (but could happen) restaurant for Baton Rouge

Marucci Restaurant. Yes, the people that make the baseball bats here in Baton Rouge. I imagine it to be a casual, full-service restaurant, leaning towards high-end, serving Italian baseball cuisine, whatever that is, but it sounds interesting. I see the entrance area being like Cabela's gun library. But instead of guns, it would be all wooden bats. Some new. Some used, autographed bats. All for sale, of course. And with a little bar area to the side.
The dining area would have signed photos of past and current baseball greats, who use(d) Marucci bats. Everything done with Italian/Baseball influences.

I was ready to be impressed when I opened this thread. But you fricked that up.
In what world could this happen?

I can taste that souvenir mini-bat sampler special right now!

What? Did a Marucci family member butt finger the Pope or something?

I don't know. But I would enjoy researching it. Italian foods that baseball greats ate. An Italian spin on baseball park food. I would look at Italian restaurants where baseball players are known to eat. Just make up some shite and name it after famous Italian baseball players.

They have a Tommy Lasordas restaurant at Dodger Stadium. There used to be a Bobby Valentines in Arlington, Texas. And of course Chicago has Harry Carays (real name Carabina).
What a shitty idea.

Well, shite. I get gets down votes for my honest "I don't know" response.
OK. Forget the Italian baseball cuisine. I just made that up on the fly anyway. Since this is a Baton Rouge based concept with a Louisiana based baseball bat company with an Italian name, how about straight coastal Italian seafood cuisine? It would pair nicely with our local seafood sources. And why not throw in a wood fired pizza for fun. So no Italian baseball cuisine. The baseball influences would only show up in the restaurant's decor.

So kind of like Ruffino's but with baseball bat decor?

Frick it. It would be just a high-end Italian sandwich bar, with the female sandwich makers wearing baseball caps and push up bras.
