It's one of the few Cajun places in NOLA.

Bad and damn expensive. Had to eat there the Saturday night before Fat Tuesday. Not only was the food bad but there were about 50 old people all in matching cruise t-shirts dancing to the band.

overpriced, edible- not good by any means but not that terrible.

I don't complain too much about food though unless its really bad.

I read that in Dante's Inferno I believe. I better show up late and eat before.

They serve "jambalaya" with almost every dish. It is terrible. Very over-priced and my server sucked Sunday after Endymion. Cruise goers destination. I will not go back. I got the fried catfish as well and it seemed as though it was fried in old burnt oil.

Haha. I know several people who have worked there a long time. They'll tell you the food is complete shite. Except, if you have to eat there, get the ribeye. It's the only good thing.

Took the wife there, just for the experience of a live cajun band, she had never heard or seen. I think we both got the seafood platter and EVERYTHING was over-cooked. Should have sent it back but I didn't want to ruin her experience. The music and scene were cool though.

all the tourists at the convention center rave about it.... they have a decent glass of tea and the ketchup bottles are usually fairly clean..

If you want cajun in New Orleans go to the other side of Poydras to The Bon Ton Cafe. About the same price and much better.

I love Bon Ton.

This is an obligation for a buddies wedding. I was curious as to how much trouble I'm getting into.

I ate there the weekend before the super bowl. Way over priced. But it was decent, except for the jambalaya, it was horrible. But maybe it's good to people who have never had a Gonzales style jambo.

Pretty fun atmosphere though.

How bad is it? It's "eat dinner somewhere good before and just drink there" bad.
