It's a decent time. Some years the crawfish are good size and sometimes not. Just depends. Usually seasoned/boiled well though. They have other food vendors and there's always a band playing at one of the stages. If I'm in Shreveport during Memorial Day weekend I make it out there at least once.

I always have a good time. As said, always decent band, better than expected crawfish. Other food as well. One thi ng I like about Shreveport is the festival square

It's a fun event; worth it IMO

I agree the crawfish is hit and miss but a lot of people show up just for the entertainment alone...probably not an event for the FBD crew as BMC is about your only option

It's worth it. Like R2R said, if I'm in town during the fest I will make it for at one of the nights. It's usually a big ol high school reunion though and it's one of the few social events that I actually get to see some of my married friends that have children. The annoying thing though is you have to buy drink tickets to get beer or mixed drinks. My high school usually has a tent set up so I buy from them to support the alumni association.

So it's pretty kid friendly I take it. I will have mine with me.
