Their pork chop is pretty amazing. Decent gumbo but I've had better.

Had this last time. VERY good. Can't go wrong with gumbo and BBQ shrimp, though. Everything I've had there has been good. Have at it.

Mr. B's is one of my favorite places. Has a lot to do with nostalgia of going there with family growing up, but the food has been great every time I've been.
There's been some great suggestions already. Pork chop is incredible, BBQ shrimp are great, pork belly is good, crab cakes a remember being good. Shrimp and grits is really good with a red eye gravy. Really can't go wrong there. Enjoy.

Thanks bud. I hear the crab cakes are top notch.

I had BBQ shrimp last night; not eating that two nights in a row. I'll have to find something else to pair with my gumbo.

I enjoy Mr. B's. The gumbo is good, but not my favorite. I like my own better. Theirs is a little thick for me, but if someone was looking for gumbo in Nola, I'd recommend it.
People enjoy the duck spring rolls, crabcake and fried oysters on the half shell. I haven't had any of the others, but they look good.
I like the bbq shrimp. The best in town by a lot, so if that's a dish you like, get it. I like the shrimp and grits, though the last time I had that dish, it needed more sauce/gravy and I would ask for extra. They do a nice job on the wood grilled fish dishes. Pork chop is good. I haven't had the lamb chops, but the photo of them looks good if you're a lamb fan.
My favorite dessert is the hot buttered pecan pie. It's outstanding. The bread pudding and profiteroles are very good as well.
Report back. I haven't been in a while.
