Moe's BBQ is pretty good and there are a few locations including downtown. Smoked wings are very good.
Brick Pit has solid pork and is more of a dive in west mobile near the university.

I always recommend Felix's to people. Solid seafood and nice atmosphere with great service. Call ahead for reservation if you don't want to wait a while.
Kitchen on George is a nice restaurant in the Oakleigh District.
Five is fairly new down there, but there is one is Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. Awesome place.

Yea the brick pit is my favorite BBQ in Mobile but like roll said, the building isn't much to look at.

My list:
McMillan BBQ 3103 West Main Street 36612 (Prichard)
Wonderfully cooked meat, sauce is Dreamland-ish with not as much bite. Is in the hood with bars on the windows. Brisket great too!
The Hungry Owl 7899 Cottage Hill Rd, 36695
Up and coming. Ultimate Chef Tony Burger and BBQ Chicken are the favorites. Bacon Candy, Smoked Gouda Grits
Callaghan's Irish Social Club 916 Charleston Street, Mobile 36604
Live Music. Hamburger often voted best in Alabama.
Bob's Downtown Restaurant 263 St. Francis Street, 36602
Loved the place for breakfast. Big portions, country cooking, cheap! Said it was a real find.

We LOVE Yen restaurant. It's a Vietnamese joint in the hood that absolutely must be tried. They do it all, and very well. Look at this menu... Trip Advisir menu

OK Bicycle Shop for great tacos/ Mexican and badass guacamole. The duck nachos are also excellent. They have a sushi side too, but I can't comment on how it is.

Yeah, Liquid is the name of the Sushi restaurant next door. It is very good. You can actually order from either restaurant at either place.
