Just made it to NYC, didn't do my research before leaving and the place I wanted to eat is closed for good.

Give me a reasonable dinner recommendation for this evening.

ETA: we have reservations at Frank tomorrow night.......so Italian is out for this evening.

OMG, someone else loves this place, too! But pretty far from midtown.

Oxtail fried rice with marrow at blue ribbon sushi is one of the best things I've ever eaten.

Ma Peche. Just do it.

Bar Boulud is also solid if you're into charcuterie, though its technically Upper West Side.
