The Forge was awesome. Was there for a brief conference earlier this year and that was the best meal we had

Best fried chicken in the world at southern yardbird.

Meh, Yardbird was OK, but Gus's in Memphis has far better chicken, imo.

I stopped a Cuban restaurant in Little Havana on a whim and had one of the best meals of my life. It was a place in a strip mall and no one spoke any English. Line was out the door, so we decided to give it a shot. Had to point to the menu to order. There's probably a ton like it if you're adventurous.

You MUST go to Macchialina. My favorite restaurant in Miami and it's not close (I lived there from 2009-2015).
Owner/head chef there was the executive chef at Scarpetta before moving over. The place was owned by Pubbelly originally then spun off on its own.
Say hi to Jen the co-owner/manager for me
