The family wants to do Mason's for Sunday brunch. It's my understanding that poor timing /planning can result in a 2-hour wait. Any recommendations on what's the best time to get there and when do the long wait times begin?

Thanks.

Get there no later than 9:30 and the earlier the better to be safe. That place gets ridiculously packed for Sunday brunch. It's one of my favorite brunch places in town.

Call ahead and get your name on the list before you get there.

Call ahead, do not arrive any later than 10 and you'll be fine.

Y'all should do it on a Saturday. Same menu, better service and 1/3 of the crowd. If you do it on Sunday, call ahead when you're on your way and get there no later than 10:15. It's fine for a couple to get there later and wait at the bar with some cocktails but it sounds terrible for a group.

It's one of my least favorite brunches in town. If you're not set on Mason's try City Pork/Galatoires/Duvics/Jubans/Beusoleil which are my favorites.
