i have both orignal magnalite and the mcware products.....the mcware seems to be a little heavier...

yea I saw that, see the first link in my next post.

But I have both wagnerware and GHC magnalite and have compared that to the Mcware, and its like they are poured from the same mold.

Comparing the prices I would buy the Mcware for sure. And I have been considering buying the 18" Mcware roaster (thats how I found out all this info)


Its good to know I can get replacement handles and lids for my old magnalite though

I still use my Mag professional every day...and I even have some wagnerware cast iron that I still use....great stuff...but I love my allclad too.

Yeah I'm kinda thinking the same thing. And since Mcware is produced in LA, I'd rather give my money to them then anybody else.
